How it works

## Four steps, one screen

The planner keeps what has to be done and who can do it side by side.

1. **Start from the available stops**
The interventions to plan appear in a list, with overdue ones highlighted. Pick the period and search by customer, address or asset code.
2. **Assign them to operators**
Drag each stop onto an operator's lane, with the keyboard too. Or ask for a suggestion by zone and remaining capacity: you see a preview and confirm.
3. **Set start, end and vehicle**
Every lane has its own start and end depot and its own vehicle. The operator's remaining capacity stays in view.
4. **Optimize the kilometers and save**
"Optimize km" proposes a new stop order and shows the kilometers before and after. Pinned stops stay where they are. Apply it, then save.

What's included

## Everything you need to prepare the day

From the planner to the agenda, in a single section of the software.

### Lane-based planner

One screen with the stops to assign and a lane for each operator. Move stops by hand or let Toitrack distribute them, then review and confirm.

### Kilometer optimization

The preview compares the current route with the optimized one, with the percentage of kilometers saved. It needs at least two stops with coordinates.

### Operator profile and warnings

Zone, skills by asset category, daily capacity, working hours and days. If an assignment goes beyond these limits Toitrack warns you without blocking you.

### Weekly agenda

A grid of the week with the interventions assigned to each operator, each one's load and an overload signal.

### Route calendar

The monthly view of your routes: click a day to see its routes with status, operator and number of stops, and a link to the detail.

### Recurring templates

Save a route as a template, with its operators and depots, and apply it to a new date by opening the planner already filled in.

## Good to know

- Each step has its own permission, assigned by role: "Edit routes" to plan, "Plan and optimize routes" to optimize, "Assign tasks to operators" for the agenda.
- Optimization reorders stops by the distance between their coordinates. It does not take traffic into account.
- The planner, agenda and calendar are part of the core of the software. Recurring templates are available with an activity profile that includes rental.

FAQ

## Route planning: your questions answered

What people who prepare routes every day ask.

### Can I assign stops automatically?

You can ask for a suggestion: "Distribute across lanes" proposes where to place the available stops based on zone and remaining capacity. You see a preview and confirm. Stops that do not fit stay to be assigned by hand. At least one operator needs a zone set in their profile.

### Does optimization take traffic into account?

No. It reorders stops by the distance between their coordinates and shows you the kilometers before and after. Pinned stops are not moved, and at least two stops with coordinates are needed.

### What happens if I give an operator too much work?

Toitrack warns you. It compares the intervention with the zone, skills, daily capacity, days and hours in the operator's profile and shows a warning. The assignment is not blocked: the decision stays with you.

### Can I reuse a route I already made?

Yes. Save the route as a template and apply it to a new date. Recurring templates need an activity profile that includes rental.

### Where does the operator find the route?

In the field operator app, on the phone. They see the day's stops, the next one highlighted and the "Navigate" button that opens driving directions.
